The present terms and conditions apply to European Rice Convention 2025, organised by FERM, registered at the following legal address: Avenue de Tervueren 188a, 1150 Brussels.
Registration ticket paid by participants covers a 2-night stay (from Wednesday, 10 September to Friday, 12 September 2025) at the event hotel, Don Carlos Marbella, admission to the European Rice Convention 2025 (access to welcome cocktail reception on 10 September, conference sessions, lunch, coffee breaks and gala dinner on 11 September, all related event materials, excursion to Malaga on 12 September, including lunch and transfers after lunch). It does NOT cover travelling, and extras. All prices are VAT exclusive.
If you selected a category + Partner, the ticket also includes a double room occupancy and breakfast, the partner's day trip on 11 September, participation of the partner in the gala dinner on 11 September, as well as the excursion and lunch on 12 September.
Payment and Confirmation of Your Registration
Your registration will be confirmed only after full payment has been received and processed. Payment must be received before the start of the event.
You can pay via bank transfer or credit card (note: online payments incur an additional fee). A pro-forma invoice will be issued upon registration, with the final invoice sent at a later stage.
Cancellation Policy - Cancellation by the participant
Participants are allowed to cancel their registrations until 8 August 2025. Until that date, payments already received by FERM will be refunded (limited to the amount paid by the participants). However, a fee of 100 € will be charged to cover administrative and banking costs. Refunds will be handled after the event. In case of cancellation after 8 August 2025 or in case of no-show, fees paid for registration will not be refunded. If your registration fee has not been paid but you do not show up or you cancel after 8 August 2025, the amount of your registration remains due to FERM.
Cancellation Policy - Cancellation by the organiser
If the organiser cancels the event for any reason other than force majeure, registration fees are refunded to registered and paid participants. However, refunds are limited to the amount paid by the participants. The organiser is not liable for any other loss or expenses incurred by participants as a consequence of cancellation. In the event that the European Rice Convention 2025 would be cancelled, postponed or relocated on account of fire, flood, riot, earthquake, civil commotion, decisions taken by the national and/or local authorities, weather conditions, strike, lock-out, labour disturbances, explosions, sabotage, accident, terrorism, war, acts of God or any other causes or casualties beyond the control of the organiser, no refund shall be made. Participants to the European Rice Convention waive all claims for damage in this case.
